The Aprilia SR GT 200 is an adventure-style scooter: taller suspension, chunky all-road tyres and a riding position that sits you up high. It takes rough village roads, steep hills and long days in its stride, which makes it the scooter for exploring beyond the beach towns.

Riding the Aprilia SR GT 200 in Bali

  • The seat is higher than on most scooters. If you're on the short side, check at delivery that you can put your feet down comfortably.
  • Mountain roads in Bali are steep and often wet in the afternoon: go slowly downhill and brake gently with both brakes.
  • It gets cool up in the hills, especially early and late in the day. Bring a jacket, and the raincoat we give you.
  • Fill up with Pertamax, the green pumps at Pertamina stations.
  • Rough roads are fine; sand is not. Please don't ride on the beach.

How renting works

  1. Pick your dates, the Aprilia SR GT 200 and where we bring it. You don't pay anything online.
  2. We confirm on WhatsApp, usually within the hour, and ask for a photo of your passport, your hotel or villa booking and your return flight.
  3. We deliver, check the scooter with you, and you pay by cash or transfer. At the end we collect it.

Questions about renting an Aprilia SR GT 200

Can I ride the Aprilia to the mountains?

Yes, that's what it's made for. Bedugul, Munduk and Kintamani are a long but beautiful day trip from the south. Leave early: clouds and rain often come in the afternoon.

Is the Aprilia good for two people?

Yes. It has room for two and the power for hills. The seat is high, so the rider should be comfortable holding it up at a stop with a passenger on board.

Do I need a different licence for a 200 cc scooter?

No. A licence that covers motorcycles (category A on your International Driving Permit, or an Indonesian SIM C) covers it.

What's the minimum rental, and is it cheaper for longer?

The minimum is 2 days. The price per day drops the longer you ride: 20% off from 7 days, 24% off from 14 days, 50% off from 30 days. The cheapest price for your dates is applied automatically.

Do I pay a deposit or leave my passport?

No deposit, and we never keep your passport. To confirm a booking we ask on WhatsApp for a photo of your passport, your hotel or villa booking and your return flight ticket.

What's included, and how do I pay?

Every rental includes 2 helmets, raincoat, phone holder. You pay on delivery, by cash or bank transfer, and we help on WhatsApp from 8am to 9pm for the whole rental.

Do I need a driving licence to ride a scooter in Bali?

Yes. You need a licence that covers motorcycles: your home licence with the motorcycle category plus an International Driving Permit that shows it too, or an Indonesian SIM C. Police in Bali do check, and travel insurance usually won't pay without one.
