Kerobokan is in North Kuta, between Seminyak to the south and Canggu to the north-west. It's quieter than both, with villas tucked between rice fields and small lanes, and the beaches, restaurants and cafés of Seminyak and Canggu are 10 to 20 minutes away. Cars crawl on these roads at busy times, so a scooter is the easy way to get around.

Where we deliver in Kerobokan
Delivery is free anywhere in Kerobokan: Kerobokan Kelod, the southern part towards Petitenget and Batu Belig, and Kerobokan Kaja, the northern part with more rice fields. That includes the villas and guesthouses off Jalan Raya Kerobokan, Jalan Gunung Tangkuban Perahu, Jalan Mertanadi and the lanes in between.

Many Kerobokan villas sit down a narrow gang (lane) or behind a gate with no number. The villa name and a pin are all we need to find you.
Which scooter for Kerobokan?
Kerobokan is flat and most rides from here are short: Seminyak for dinner, Batu Belig or Berawa for the beach, Umalas for breakfast. Any of our scooters works. The Vespa is the fun one for café hops and sunset rides. The Yamaha NMAX is the comfortable choice for two people and has room under the seat for a bag. Take the Aprilia SR GT 200 if you plan day trips to Uluwatu, Ubud or the mountains.
Riding in Kerobokan: good to know
- Jalan Raya Kerobokan is the main road and it's busy in the morning and late afternoon. The back lanes through Umalas are calmer and often quicker.
- In December 2025 a traffic trial made parts of Jalan Raya Kerobokan and Jalan Gunung Tangkuban Perahu one-way. Follow the arrows on the road, even when your map app says otherwise.
- Temple ceremonies sometimes close a village road for a while. Slow down, follow the people directing traffic, and take the next lane round.
- Fill up at a Pertamina petrol station on the main roads. Fuel sold in bottles or small 'Pertamini' pumps at roadside stalls costs more.
- Parking at beaches, cafés and shops costs a few thousand rupiah, paid to the attendant. Keep small notes handy.
- Lock the handlebar and take the key with you every time, even in your villa's parking.

Do I need a driving licence to ride a scooter in Kerobokan?
Yes. You need a licence that covers motorcycles: your home licence with the motorcycle category plus an International Driving Permit that shows it too, or an Indonesian SIM C. Police in Bali do check, and travel insurance usually won't pay without one.
