Canggu is spread out: cafés, surf breaks, gyms and co-working spaces sit along a web of narrow roads where cars get stuck and scooters keep moving. We deliver scooters to villas, guesthouses and hotels in Canggu, Berawa, Batu Bolong and Echo Beach, and pick them up again at the end.

Our base in Kerobokan is about 15 minutes from Berawa, so Canggu is one of our quickest delivery areas. You get helmets and a raincoat with the scooter, and a surf rack if you ask for one.

Where we deliver in Canggu

Our Canggu / Berawa area covers Berawa and Tibubeneng, Batu Bolong, Echo Beach (Batu Mejan) and the villas around Jalan Raya Canggu and Jalan Pantai Berawa. Pererenan, further west, and Umalas, on the Kerobokan side, are separate areas with their own fees, listed at the bottom of this page.

Plenty of Canggu villas are down unpaved lanes between rice fields, without a street number. Share a Google Maps pin when you book and we'll find you.

Which scooter for Canggu?

Two people with beach bags? The Yamaha NMAX has the comfiest seat for two and room under the seat for towels and a helmet. The Vespa suits short hops between cafés and sunset at Batu Bolong. If you surf, add a surf rack when you book and we fit it before delivery.

Riding in Canggu: good to know

  • The Canggu 'shortcut' between Batu Bolong and Berawa is narrow and packed around sunset. Ride slowly, follow any one-way signs and give way.
  • Park in the beach car parks, not on the sand. Sand and salt water damage a scooter quickly.
  • Parking at beaches and popular cafés costs a few thousand rupiah; keep small notes handy.
  • In the rainy season (roughly November to March) some lanes flood fast in a heavy shower. Wait it out in a café; the raincoat is under the seat.
  • With a surfboard on the rack, ride wide of parked cars and people: the board sticks out to the side.

Questions about renting a scooter in Canggu

Is a scooter the best way to get around Canggu?

For most visitors, yes. Distances are short but the roads are narrow and often jammed, so a car can take much longer than a scooter for the same trip. If you've never ridden before, practise on quiet lanes first.

Can I get a scooter with a surf rack in Canggu?

Yes. Add the surf rack when you book (the price is shown on this page). It depends on availability for your dates, so add it early, and we fit it to the scooter before delivery.

Do you deliver to Pererenan and Echo Beach?

Yes. Echo Beach is part of our Canggu / Berawa area. Pererenan is its own area with its own fee per trip, listed on this page.

How much is scooter delivery to Canggu?

Rp15K per trip: once to bring the scooter and once to pick it up at the end. You see the total before you book and pay it on delivery with the rental.

What's the minimum rental, and is it cheaper for longer?

The minimum is 2 days. The price per day drops the longer you ride: 20% off from 7 days, 24% off from 14 days, 50% off from 30 days. The cheapest price for your dates is applied automatically.

Do I pay a deposit or leave my passport?

No deposit, and we never keep your passport. To confirm a booking we ask on WhatsApp for a photo of your passport, your hotel or villa booking and your return flight ticket.

What's included, and how do I pay?

Every rental includes 2 helmets, raincoat, phone holder. You pay on delivery, by cash or bank transfer, and we help on WhatsApp from 8am to 9pm for the whole rental.

Do I need a driving licence to ride a scooter in Canggu?

Yes. You need a licence that covers motorcycles: your home licence with the motorcycle category plus an International Driving Permit that shows it too, or an Indonesian SIM C. Police in Bali do check, and travel insurance usually won't pay without one.
